World's Best Tour Guides
When we signed up for this tour it was the excitement of being guided by THE RICK STEVES himself that had us thrilled. Although Rick exceeded our expectations, Ben and Trish were star guides as well ! They both have their own unique style, which personifies and complements Rick's philosophy. Ben and Trish went above and beyond during our tour. It was very efficient to have our tickets ready for us when we arrived at an attraction or transportation. Ben and Trish always went ahead to make sure everything went smoothly. There were so many little surprises along the way. Ben or Trish treated us with local snacks from the areas we were visiting. The snacks were accompanied by an overview of the history and culture of the area. It was so much fun to taste chocolate from Switzerland, stroopwafel from the Netherlands, fresh cheeses and yogurt, plus many more! Trish delighted us with her beautiful singing voice while we toured a cavernous castle. Ben always had a smile on his face and an amazing sense of humor. He taught me to make eye contact when toasting. Both Ben and Trish communicated with each tour member individually through out the tour, showing they had a true interest how we were doing. They were excellent tour guides that helped make our tour the best we've ever been on.

What can I say about Rick that already hasn't been said? It was an honor and pleasure to be able to travel around Europe with the Travel Guru himself, Rick Steves ! Rick had not personally guided the Best of Europe in 21 Days Tour in many years. He didn't miss a beat! His knowledge, humor, explanations, passion, energy, and efficiency cannot be surpassed. It was just like being in the middle of one of his TV shows! The way Rick spoke and his actions showed he genuinely cared that each tour member was having a great experience. His descriptions of how thing were when he first started tours and how his company has evolved into the empire it is today were entertaining and amazing. This tour ignited my wanderlust ! Now I feel confident that I can travel" Europe Through The Back Door" on my own, using Rick's books and apps.
